When Olivia Spadavecchia, the lovely editor of Gourmet contacted us in August about featuring us for an Entertaining at Home feature in the magazine, we thought to tie in the celebration with October. ? Three years ago on Oct 14, we bravely promised to be there for each other- for better, for worse. Truthfully, we give thanks daily for each other.
Though we have been friends since teenage years, it was ultimately our shared passion for food that moved us beyond the tipping point from the platonic to the romantic. Food has fuelled our passion and cooking together has actually brought some great times in our relationship. There have been lots of earth-shattering and tantalizing epiphanies on our palates, loads and loads of pots and pans to wash, a few girlie tears when the chef?s critique ?was a bit harsh but way more big belly laughter and good times. ?A couple that cooks together connects emotionally and spiritually. A couple that cooks together stays together. Here?s to a lifetime in the kitchen together! ?Will you ?stick around for one heck of a culinary ride?
